NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA CPCU SOCIETY 2014 SCHOLARSHIP
ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS!!!
If you:
- Have a parent who works in the property and casualty insurance industry;
- Your parent who works in the property and casualty insurance industry either lives or works in Tulsa, Creek, Mayes, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Wagoner and Washington counties; and
- You attend school in the following counties: Tulsa, Creek, Mayes, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Wagoner and Washington
You are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the Northeastern Oklahoma Chapter of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society!!
The chapter will be awarding one (1) $1,000.00 scholarship to a college-bound senior who meets the above eligibility requirements and completes a two (2) to three (3) page double-spaced typed essay addressing the following topic:
Congratulations on your purchase of your new car you will taking with you to college! You know you must purchase bodily injury and property damage liability insurance coverage for your car as required by the State of Oklahoma, so you pay a visit to your parents’ insurance agent. Are there any other types of coverage you should consider purchasing in addition to the required liability coverage? Why or why not?

About the CPCU Society:
