ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS!!!
If you:
1. Have a parent who works in the property and casualty insurance industry;
2. Your parent who works in the property and casualty insurance industry either lives or works in Tulsa, Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Wagoner and Washington counties; and
3. You attend school in the following counties: Tulsa, Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Wagoner or Washington
You are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the Northeastern Oklahoma Chapter of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society!!
The chapter will be awarding one $1,000.00 scholarship to one college-bound senior who meets the above eligibility requirements and completes a two (2) to three (3) page typed essay addressing the following topic:
Oklahoma Law requires each motor vehicle driver and owner be insured for minimum liability limits of 25/50/25. These limits provide maximum limits of $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident for bodily injury and $25,000 for property damage. Are these limits adequate? Why or why not?
The scholarship winner will be invited to and recognized at the chapter's May 2009 meeting.
